Dog Kennel Topper

Our dog crate topper transforms your dog crate into beautiful  piece of furniture. Our kennel toppers are custom made using hand-selected pine wood and sit securely on your pet's crate.

The toppers fit on top of your crate similar to a "gift box top" and hang slightly over the crate's edge, preventing it from sliding off, while maintaining full functionality of the crate's door(s). The toppers are built with approximately 1/2 inch of additional space on all sides, providing clearance between the crate and side boards/lip to allow for any variations in the crate. The overall finished size of the topper will be approximately 2.5 inches longer and 2.5 inches wider than the actual crate, similar to a tabletop, as shown in the photos.

Every topper is hand sanded, stained and sealed with a satin clear coat finish for protection. Each piece of wood is unique which contributes to the rustic beauty and character of your custom topper. Colors may vary slightly from photos due to the varying absorption characteristics of the individual pieces of wood.

Although most crates are standard in size, quite often there is some variation from crate to crate. For that reason, we ask for three measurements with your order.

The first two are the length and the width at the top of the crate at the longest point. Be sure to take into consideration any hinges or protrusions that create length. The final measurement is from the top of the crate down to the top of the door. Please include these with your order when prompted during the ordering process.

As this is a custom piece created just for you, I do not accept returns. However, I do take responsibility for your order from the moment I make it until it reaches your hands, and you love it. If there are any shipping issues, please let me know and I will do what I can to help.
